Commitment
Commitment is one ceremony without any religious and legally binding, it is more talking about love, honesty, sealing relationship. No documents necessary and form to fill, it is just the two of you hand in hand promising each other witnessed by an officer.
You and your partner may choose a romantic place in the beautiful beach with a perfect sunset background under a tropical flower arch.
Blessing Ceremony
A religion should be declared if you wish to get marry in Indonesia, Atheism is not accepted. Only five religions are recognized and register, they are; Christian, Catholic, Moslem, Hindu and Buddhist, and marriage partner must have same religion.
Christian, Catholic, Hindu and Buddhist ceremony are blessed and conducted by A Priest according to each religions and for Moslem ceremony is performed by the Office of Religious Affairs (Kantor Urusan Agama).
Below are documents needed to be completed for blessing ceremony
Moslem
- Copy of Passport (both couple)
- Copy of Identity Card (both couple)
- Copy of Birth Certificate (both couple)
- Copy of Divorce Decree Absolute or Death Certificate of spouse from the previous marriage.
- A letter from your Penghulu (Moslem’s Priest) of local mosque you are register declaring of No objection for the couple to perform a marriage blessing by Penghulu in Bali.
- Witnesses and must be Moslem.
- Photographs 2×4 cm (4 pieces) each
Catholic
- Copy of Passport (both couple)
- Copy of Identity Card (both couple)
- Birth Certificate issued 6 (six) month prior to wedding date (both couple)
- Copy of Divorce Decree Absolute or Death Certificate of spouse from the previous marriage
- Baptism Certificate (both couple)
- Original delegation letter issued by the Parish Priest of your local church
- Original single letter (never married before) from your regency register office
- Original Prenuptial Certificate and Prenuptial Course from your local catholic church
- Copy of Passport 2 (two) Witnesses
- Photographs 4×6cm (both side by side, groom on right side)
- All documents should be sent to Catholic Church in Bali 3 months minimum prior to wedding date
Christian
- Copy of Passport (both couple)
- Copy of Identity Card (both couple)
- Copy of Birth Certificate (both couple)
- Copy of Divorce Decree Absolute or Death Certificate of spouse from the previous marriage
- Baptism Certificate (both couple)
- Original single letter (never married before) from your regency register office
- Copy of Passport 2 (two) Witnesses

Full Legal Wedding
In accordance with Law No. 1 of 1974 concerning marriages in Indonesia (Article 2 (1): “a marriage is legitimate if it has been performed according to the laws of the respective religious beliefs of the parties concerned.”
A legal wedding ceremony can be proceeding after the religious procession done, civil registry officer will lead a court for recording your marriage after receiving a copy of Marriage certificate issued by authorized local religions institute along with documents previously submitted.

Moslem
- Copy of Passport (both couple)
- Copy of Identity Card (both couple)
- Copy of Birth Certificate (both couple)
- CNI original (Certificate of No Impediment – to marry) from the Consular representative in Bali or Consulate General in Indonesia.
- Copy of Divorce Decree Absolute or Death Certificate of spouse from the previous marriage.
